Meet Vanessa
Vanessa Hancock - B.Phty

Vanessa is an experienced physiotherapist with a passion for improving quality of life through targeted and evidence based exercise. Holding a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from University of Queensland (2009), she has worked in both the private and public sectors, with a broad range of experiences across Australia and the UK, including major tertiary hospitals in Queensland, Tasmania and London.
Vanessa's experiences in the broader health sector made clear that pelvic floor dysfunction and continence is often a barrier to many women's participation in exercise, thus exposing them disproportionately to a range of chronic diseases further impacting quality of life. Subsequently, she has a keen interest in empowering all women, no matter their life stage, to optimise their pelvic health through education, up to date research and engagement with exercise.
Vanessa is the very proud mum of two and appreciates the unique challenges of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding and the transition into motherhood.
Vanessa is an AHPRA registered Physiotherapist, a member of the Australian Physiotherpy Association (APA), the APA Women's, Men's and Pelvic Health special interest group and Women's Health Training Associates (WHTA).
