Kate has been a physiotherapist for 16 years and has had extensive experience in treating musculoskeletal and women’s health concerns. Kate graduated from the University of Queensland in 2004 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours. Her honours research on chronic pain has been published in the Australian Journal of Physiotherapy. She has since completed various studies in Women’s health as well as Clinical Pilates training.
Kate developed a keen interest in women’s health while working in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and pilates and following the births of her 3 children. She has experience and is specially trained to treat:
Pregnancy-related musculoskeletal pain
Postnatal conditions including incontinence and abdominal separation
Pelvic pain conditions
She also has special training in Clinical Pilates; dry needling and Chronic Pain management.
Kate is a registered physiotherapist and is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association as well as the Continence & Women’s Health special interest group and the Musculoskeletal special interest group.
She is available for appointments on:
Tuesdays 7:00am - 2:00pm
Saturdays 1:00am - 5:00pm
